But your one-liners are annoying (Gem). Not annoying annoying... More like, curiosity and I WANT TO KNOW WHAT THE HELL YOU'RE REFERING TO annoying... The other LJ one-liners that appear don't usually seem to be personal, or if they are don't lead themselves to questions.

That wasn't supposed to be mean or evil in any way, shape or form... I swear.

Then again, I'm probably just not in the social circle that knows such things.

Anyway, my original point, which I've at least partially forgotten by now, was what about me? I have a range of Blogspots, LJ's, MySpaces and independent blogs that I read/comment on regularly... And I'm not a member of any of them, so I manually check them, and would therefore be part of many different cliques, or at least a link between them, even if it was only frainty. (Fraint = ask Gem for definition:)) Where do I fit in?

And why was my explanation about orange in vernacular compared to the rest of the post? Hmpf!

Also, why would it be inappropriate for an "alien" to intrude and comment in the wrong online social circle, when he belongs to the real life social circle? Which sociology tells us has far more meaning and connection etc than some pithy online comment-fest would/can create?

I think I'm finished now...

Oh no, sociology student, yeah, that'd be cool. I quite possibly want to be a sociologist:)

One-liners are good because they:
1. Leave the reader guessing and don't explain the entire inner-workings of your brain online.
But more importantly,
2. Don't reveal your intelligence, or lack thereof.
