As for the con­tent of the thing, no jokes are required about me being unable to write an essay/speech with­out ref­er­ence to acces­si­bil­ity! It’s purely inci­den­tal, I promise! On a slightly more seri­ous note, if some of the sen­tences utterly suck, chances are I didn’t speak them that way… my paper ver­sion had a few pencilled-in cor­rec­tions, and then there was the inevitable “read but speak dif­fer­ently” fac­tor.
