2005: Year of the cheap Gigabit?

Just got an email from an OEM supplier, advertising gigabit NICs for $AU13/unit. Cool. Now, if only something similar would happen for various other gigabit infrastructure (switches, anyone?)…

The Lazy Kings

A series of photographs from last night’s performance of “The Lazy Kings” (Transe Express, France) at Sydney Olympic Park, for the opening of the Sydney Festival.

A King (or Queen), surrounded by their court, who are carrying them.

Woman on stilts illuminated by a flare, with whip raised.

The same woman, against a background of smoke and red fire, stands above the crowd staring.

Two players, with painted faces.

The central set, prior to commencement of arial performance, in which the sizeable crowd may be seen.

Clouds threatened the performance, however despite brief rain, the production continued.

The production continues tonight and Monday.
